Long Time Member, Former Potter County Judge H.B. Fink, Did His Best To Bring People To Christ

Former Potter County District Attorney and Judge H.B. Fink, was a long time member of the Coudersport Gospel Tabernacle Church. You could depend on a smile and a bit of friendly conversation anytime you happened to cross paths with him on a Sunday.

After being removed from the bench for publicly encouraging people to find an new life in Christ, H.B. ,as he was lovingly called, started a private law practice in Port Allegany from which he retired a couple of weeks ago at the age of 81.

The unconventional Judge, with a smile and a twinkle in his eye, was hard to dislike, even when he sent you to jail. As an attorney, he was well respected and would give his clients his best representation, even in cases other lawyers wouldn't take.

At the Gospel Tabernacle, he seldom missed a Sunday service, until recently as his illness overcame him. H.B. Fink was a loving man and his presence here will be missed.

Friends will be received Thursday at the Coudersport Gospel Tabernacle from 5:00 to 7:00 pm where a memorial service will follow at 7:00 pm.
