Robert L. Pepper, 76, Coudersport, PA
Robert L. Pepper, 76, of Coudersport died of natural
causes Thursday (March 27, 2008) at his home.
Born July 16, 1931, in Painted Post, N.Y., he was a son
of Emory E. and Lillian E. Blow Pepper. On June 22,
1958, in Coudersport, he married Mary Higgins, who
survives.
Mr. Pepper was a graduate of Coudersport High School
as well as Mansfield State Teachers College. He
was an elementary teacher in Emporium for a year and
then taught at the Coudersport Elementary School
until his 1989 retirement.
He was a former member of Eulalia Lodge #342 F&AM;
the Coudersport Consistory; and Park United Methodist
Church, where he was a lay speaker. He currently attended
the Coudersport Gospel Tabernacle.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a son, Michael D.
Pepper of Coudersport; a daughter, Jennifer Cavanaugh
of Coudersport; three brothers, Alfred Pepper
of Youngstown, Ohio, Milford Pepper of Coudersport
and Emory E. Pepper Jr. of Drexel Hill; three sisters,
Carolyn Owens and Donna Mahon, both of Coudersport,
and Jean Crosby of Sylvania, Ohio; five grandchildren;
two step-grandchildren and. many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at
the Fickinger Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in the
Coudersport Gospel Tabernacle. Burial will be at the
convenience of the family.

16701; or to Potter County Hospice, 1001 E. Second St.,
Coudersport, PA 16915.
